Weather: It's very very cold now. The snow isn't very heavy (except in Snow Tribe Territory), but the icy wind freezes everything. Many smaller creeks and rivers are freezing over, and the prey is becoming scarce for both the cats and the wolves.
Bans: No kittypets for now.
The Plot
A new clan has arrived to the cats' land. They call themselves the Clan of World's Eclipse-or DeathClan. They do not believe in StarClan (in fact, they are repulsed by the thought), and as soon as they came, they attacked the Clan of Bright Moonlight. With little difficulty, they destroyed nearly all of the Clan's cats and took total control over their land.
MoonClan's neighbor, SunClan, was DeathClan's second conquest. In the midst of the night they stole into SunClan's camp. The Clan of Burning Sun shone fiercely despite the odds as they fought of the invaders, but DeathClan was too strong, and had the intent to kill all of SunClan's cats.
DeathClan won in the end of the hours-long struggle. Blood stained the snow that night, and many nights thereafter.
But there were survivors. One cat from MoonClan and a small handful from SunClan escaped with their lives and the unavoidable guilt of having abandoned their kin in a time of need. The group, wounded and growing closer to death with each step, ran to SkyClan for aid...

1.19.08 -- I've made even more changes. The plot is completely redone, and there is a new skin and banner. SunClan and MoonClan have been destroyed, and the survivors (Curledfern, Amberstripe, Snowfall, Stardust, and Firepaw) have retreated to SkyClan. A thread will soon be made for their arrival. We need DeathClan cats, so please apply!
1.18.08 -- As you can see, I've made quite a few changes around here to try and bring the site back to it's feet. first thing's first: I renamed the site. Chronicles of the Furred was starting to sound childish. Chronny will now be known as Entzünden. I've deleted a lot of old, unneeded threads, and moved any old, inactive threads to the Archives. I moved all of the character histories, stories, artwork, etc. to the Random Chat board, too. I hope you all like the new-and-improved Chronny and maybe this time it'll bloom into activity.

Because everything on this site is changing, so will the rules.
1) There is a three-sentence minimum. Yes, I have changed this because there have been too many one-liners, and that needs to stop. Three sentences at a minimum, and they have to have at least six words in them to count. Even on a writer's block day.
2) Swearing is allowed, but not overabundantly. Not every sentence. Keep it to a minimum, but it's allowed.
3) This is a respectable site, if you aren't willing to follow rules or do what you're told, then I suggest you leave.
4) When creating your character, you must use the bio form provided, and you must fill out the fields correctly, or you will not be accepted.
5) Banners will be made for each tribe and clan. You must put the banners of your characters's tribes and/or clans in your siggy.
6) Do not godmode. Godmoding: The act of making your character perfect, or 'god'-like. Ex. Exceptionally beautiful, smart, powerful, all-knowing. If you godmode, we will ban you.
7) Do not powerplay. Powerplaying: The act of controlling another member's character, no matter how small the act. If you powerplay, we will ban you.
8) This is a literate site, and you must use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Use spell-check if you have to, make sure to always look over your posts before posting them.
9) The admin's word is law. You cannot argue, complain, or refuse an admin's request. I want what's best for you RPing-wise, and I will only make decisions that will help you.
10) Do not attempt to advance the plot with your character (i.e. finding the Black Quartz in the Quartz Caves, climb Antares mountain, or cross the Gorge) without first asking the admin. Certain plots are meant to be discovered later on, and others right away. It will be left up to the admin to decide when the time is right.

Concerning rule 8:
If you know that you're not too good of an Rper or not too good at spelling correctly and/or grammar, feel free to sign up for my Rp school. Actually, we insist you do. When your posts look and sound pretty, it makes people want to Rp with you. When they don't, people think, "Oh, look, there's another crappy one." So just apply and get told.
